New Era is the debut album of Finnish power metal pioneer Timo Tolkki's band, Revolution Renaissance. After Tolkki's split from Stratovarius in 2008 he used what fan's knew the album to be titled R... R.... as the namesake for his new project. Using material he had written for Stratovarius's upcoming album, Tolkki's New Era features the talents of German power metal vocalist Tobias Sammet and German singer Michael Kiske among others.

Paul Bruce Dickinson (born 7 August 1958) is an English singer, songwriter, airline pilot, fencer, broadcaster, author, screenwriter, actor and marketing director, best known as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden.

Dickinson performed for some local bands including Styx (not the American band of the same name) in 1976, Speed, (1977–1978), and Shots in early 1979. He then joined the band Samson later in 1979, where he gained some popularity. In this band he went by the name of "Bruce Bruce." He left Samson in 1981, citing musical differences. Shortly afterwards, in 1981, Dickinson was hired as Iron Maiden's new vocalist, replacing Paul Di'Anno, and debuting for that band with the 1982 album The Number of the Beast. During his time in that band, they issued a series of high impact releases, resulting in Dickinson gaining worldwide fame, and becoming one of the most acclaimed heavy metal vocalists of all time. - wikipedia.org

CHRISTMESS - Crossing The Seven Seas

This Brazilian Band started in 2003, in Itajaí, Santa Catarina (SC), Southern of Brazil. It is formed by Lúcio Goebel (vocals), Ozéias Rodrigues (guitar) Marcello Oliveira (bass), Fernando Stopassoli (drums). Christmess plays a mix between Hard Rock/Traditional metal (melodic), with Deep Purple, Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, Scorpions, Dio and Racer X, influence. Christmess was released in 2005, an EP titled “Crossing the Seven Seas”, with five songs, including a cover of Joan Baez's “Diamonds and Rust”. This album received excellent reviews from Brazilian and foreign press.

In These Black Days: A Tribute to Black Sabbath is the name of a 6-volume Black Sabbath tribute series, released as a series of split 7" singles by Hydra Head Records. A double CD edition, compiling of all of the songs from the 7"s, as well as additional Black Sabbath covers from other bands associated with Hydra Head Records, has been planned for years, but has yet to be released. One track recorded for inclusion on the eventual CD release, Isis' cover of "Hand of Doom", was instead included on their Sawblade EP.
